So my mom and I were shopping today and she said she would but me something at a boutique if I went 'somewhere" with her. So we pull up this long drive way and I see a sign that says "Carmelite Monastery'... you can only imagine my reaction. I asked if she was making go to confession and her smart ass reply was 'No, I don't even want to know how long that would take you and I have to be somewhere at 7" So instead she made me sit there and pray in silence for 10 minutes with her. Why? I have no idea. What I do know was it was awkward as hell and I'm never promising my mom I'll go anywhere with her again without prior knowledge of the location.... So that's my story for the day. Anyone going to be in Milwaukee next weekend? I was thinking of going if I can convince my parents.
